The CT.07 route through the province comprises several component projects, including the Project to Complete Construction of the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi Section of the CT.07 Expressway under the public-private partnership (PPP) form, which broke ground at the end of June 2026, and the Project to Construct the Bac Kan - Cao Bang Expressway, which is preparing implementation steps; the Project to Construct the Cho Moi - Bac Kan Route is being intensively built, with efforts to basically complete it within 2026.

For the Project to Complete Construction of the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi Section of the CT.07 Expressway, the placement of site-clearance boundary markers along the entire route has been completed; revised cadastral maps for site clearance purposes have been provided to communes and wards.
Units are accelerating construction preparations, installing asphalt concrete plants, cement concrete plants and transformer stations; arranging sites and camps at locations where construction fronts are planned to be launched; they are also carrying out surveys and technical design, prioritizing sections of the route that are eligible to be implemented first.
For the Bac Kan - Cao Bang Expressway, Thai Nguyen Province is implementing Component Project 1 on compensation, support, resettlement and site clearance for the section running through the province. The Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Northern Region Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Transportation and Agricultural Works to organize implementation; the selection of a consulting unit to prepare the component project is expected to be completed in August 2026.

Along with this, localities are focusing on carrying out site clearance. Communes and wards have set up Steering Committees, drawn up detailed implementation plans, and held conferences to inform the People about the Project's objectives, scale, scope, implementation progress, and compensation, support and resettlement policies. Some localities have reviewed, cross-checked and inspected the land area and on-land assets of households within the project's recovery area.
Through these conferences and working sessions, residents were briefed on, and given clarification regarding, the regulations relating to the recovery and inventory of land, assets, trees, crops, graves, and the lawful rights and interests of affected households. This helped build consensus and agreement in the process of carrying out site clearance.
With the resolute involvement of localities, investors, construction units and the entire political system, site clearance work is being accelerated, helping ensure that projects along the CT.07 route are implemented on schedule, so that an expressway linking the regions can soon take shape, expanding development space and strengthening Thai Nguyen's transport connectivity with other localities in the region.
