According to a report by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, preparations for the Festival were largely proceeding as planned as of October 6. The province had coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to hold an international press conference; completed the Festival website in Vietnamese and English; developed scripts for the opening and closing ceremonies; and begun implementing activities for the exhibition “Thai Nguyen 195 years - Achievements in integration and development”.

Specialized activities, tea culture promotion, and trade promotion efforts continue to be intensified. Preparations for the “World Master Tea Vietnam” competition are nearly complete, with the in-person competition scheduled to take place from November 1 to 6 and the awards to be presented at the closing ceremony on November 7. Exhibition spaces showcasing tea products from Thai Nguyen and other countries are being finalized.

Notably, preparations for artistic performances and activities on the province’s central pedestrian street are receiving particular attention. The “Tea Appreciation Night” program is scheduled for the evening of November 4 under the theme “Convergence of Tea Aromas”, combining traditional and modern arts, tea culture performances, and community gatherings for tea appreciation. The closing program on the evening of November 7 will include a Festival review, commendations, expressions of gratitude to sponsors, the World Master Tea Vietnam awards ceremony, and artistic performances celebrating the Festival’s success.

Plans are being finalized for a tea-themed parade featuring six decorated floats and approximately 750 participants. Scheduled for October 30, the parade will proceed from the Thai Nguyen Sports Arena through Vo Nguyen Giap Square and the central roundabout to the central pedestrian street.

Security and public order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, reception, logistics, and arrangements for welcoming delegates are being coordinated across relevant agencies. More than 300 international delegates are expected to attend the Festival; by October 6, 80 delegates had confirmed their attendance and six international tea delegations had registered for exhibition booths.
