Overview of the Conference

According to a report by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission, three major activities will take place in the province in 2026 and 2027, including: the 90th anniversary of the founding of Thai Nguyen Province's first Communist Party organization (1936 - 2026); the 80th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, together with the Party Central Committee and the Government, leading the resistance war against the French colonialists from ATK Dinh Hoa and ATK Cho Don (1947 - 2027); and the special political commentary art program "Forever Engraving His Name", part of the "Proud to Be Vietnamese" program series.

The Provincial Party Committee has issued implementation plans and assigned specific tasks to agencies, units, and localities for implementation. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission successfully held a political and ideological conference commemorating the 90th anniversary of the founding of Thai Nguyen Province's first Communist Party organization, in both in-person and online formats, with more than 39,500 delegates in attendance; communication activities have been carried out on schedule. Departments, sectors, and localities have issued plans, documents, and directives, guiding grassroots units to make thorough preparations for cultural and artistic activities, scientific seminars, and the ceremony marking the 90th anniversary of the founding of the province's first Communist Party organization... on schedule.

Regarding the activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, together with the Party Central Committee and the Government, leading the resistance war against the French colonialists from ATK Dinh Hoa and ATK Cho Don (1947 - 2027), the Provincial Party Standing Committee has determined that 10 specific activities will be held and has assigned units and localities to take the lead in advising on and implementing them; among these, the commemoration ceremony is set to be held on a provincial scale in May 2027. Based on the reports, agencies, units, and localities, in line with their assigned functions and duties, are developing specific plans to ensure the activities are practical, effective, and appropriate to actual conditions. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission has proposed including the commemoration event in the Scheme for Organizing the Commemoration of the Country's Major Holidays and Important Historical Events for the 2026 - 2030 period, to be submitted to the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee.

Regarding the special political commentary art program "Forever Engraving His Name" (part of the "Proud to Be Vietnamese" program series), the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission proactively organized a delegation to work with the Central Party Committee's Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission on plans to coordinate the organization of the above event in Thai Nguyen.

At the Conference, delegates gave their comments on the draft Notice on task assignments for members of the Organizing Committee and reported on the progress of assigned tasks to date.

Delivering directive remarks at the Conference, Comrade Bui Van Luong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee, requested that agencies and units continue to strengthen coordination, speed up progress, and improve the effectiveness of organizing the activities; thoroughly grasp the purpose, political and historical significance, and traditional educational value of the commemoration activities. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission - the standing agency of the Steering Committee - will incorporate the feedback received and finalize the draft task assignments to ensure clear responsibility for each person and task, and will continue to review, monitor, and urge the implementation of tasks. Departments, boards, sectors, and localities, based on their functions and duties, should uphold a strong sense of responsibility, stay closely engaged, and ensure no task is overlooked. Information and communication efforts should be stepped up before, during, and after the commemoration activities.

He emphasized that the successful organization of these commemoration activities would help foster revolutionary tradition education, strengthen the great national unity bloc, and generate a vibrant emulation spirit to successfully implement the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress and the province's socio-economic development tasks in the new period.
